Application Form

Applicants must:

Canadian citizen or permanent resident of Canada
Want to pursue a career in the skilled trades
Ages 18–29, with consideration given to applicants aged 30 and older on a case-by-case basis
Have completed grade 10 education
Be a resident of Ontario, living in the Greater Toronto Area and have the ability to travel within the GTA
Be justice-involved or justice-impacted, and/or identify as a member of an equity-deserving or underrepresented community
Must participate in ORA’s mentoring
Willing to participate in a pre-apprenticeship training program in the skilled trades skilled trades
Must be FIT FOR DUTY. Fit for Duty is defined as a state in which a worker is in a physical, physiological, and psychological condition that enables them to perform assigned tasks safely, competently, and efficiently. A worker who is "fit for duty" is free from any impairment, including the effects of fatigue, stress, alcohol, or drugs, that could compromise their safety or the safety of others on the worksite.
