Criminal records hinder employment prospects

Without opportunities for employment, individuals with criminal records may struggle to support themselves and their families, increasing the risk of returning to criminal activities to survive. Offering them employment reduces the risk of recidivism and contributes to safer communities.
The Oaks Revitalization Association’s Skills Trade Development Program (STDP) was created to empower justice-involved individuals who face higher barriers of entry, and enhance pathways into meaningful and gainful careers. We are doing it!
