Celebrating Raquille’s Success!

November 18, 2024

Raquille has demonstrated the power of resilience and determination, showing how taking advantage of the right opportunities can change the course of a life.

His journey with the Oaks Revitalization Association (ORA) began with a commitment to bettering himself and creating a stronger future. Through our tailored mentoring program and the skilled training provided by LiUNA Local 183 Training Centre, Raquille gained not only technical expertise but also the confidence and mindset needed to succeed in the skilled trades.

This wasn’t just about finding a job—it was about building a career with purpose and stability. Upon completing his training, Raquille secured employment and achieved a major milestone by becoming a proud unionized member of LiUNA Local 183, one of the most respected unions in the skilled trades industry. This accomplishment reflects his hard work, focus, and determination to rewrite his story and create a solid foundation for his future.

Raquille’s journey is a testament to what can be achieved with the right support, mentoring, and access to life-changing opportunities. At ORA, we are privileged to walk alongside individuals like Raquille, helping to provide the tools and pathways that lead to meaningful and prosperous careers. His success is a source of immense pride for our team and a powerful reminder of why we do this work.

In the skilled trades, success starts long before the first tool hits the ground. It begins with showing up, early, prepared, and ready to work. Being on time isn’t just about the clock; it’s about respect, for yourself, your crew, and the craft you’re building.
